Private course in Piper. 18 holes with DISCatchers. He had a nice event last Halloween and I expect he'll try and do it again this year. Otherwise, it's pretty much by appointment to go play it. But it is available for special events as well. Just gotta contact Ted.

Since the question was posed the answer is now available in the form of an invitation to see for yourself.

Next Tuesday, 8/3, @ 5:30 shooting for a tee off before 6pm. Ted's Dread is alive and well. We have three already planning to be there.

After a lot of data entry I have comprised the new TOP TEN LIST for KC. 


With almost 40 entries I feel we have a pretty good idea how the collective votes.  And here is your results.

The reality of this situation is that we have many awesome courses. I am going to try Old Pike tomorrow.
IMHO The parameters should be set for: in no particular order:
Car and persons accessible (as in parking, finding the layout logical without a map,  first assessment for the novice player, cleanliness, amenities)
Variety of skill of play, reconfiguration of course
Quality of baskets. teepads, signage
Maintenance of the course
Safety
Non homie attitude
