I was driving by Rosedale on my way to work this morning around 7:30am and what did I SEE?

I played a round at Rosey yesterday. I swear I was on a safari in the Amazon on the last few holes.
Well, that went a long way the wrong way.

To Dan Weinert: I'd be happy to pay a few bucks to park if it means I don't have to bring a machete to get through a round. You'd think that park and rec workers already get paid for maintenance tasks such as mowing already though? Maybe they just need to pick up a couple temp. workers during the summer months to keep up... or something.

To jtheiss: I played Young Park about a month ago and I noticed that the park's maintenance shop is RIGHT there, so I assume they stay on top of that task. I'm planning on a round in Blue Springs this coming week too. Thanks for the info!!

You have not played many brand new courses have you? Smithville will have the widest, "new" course fairways of anybody but with the scope and magnitude of this complex, it will not be at "broke in" level for a bit.

Dick an the boys know what needs to be done...my job will be to keep the resourses available and in working order!

Chippers are on standby to deal with everything we cut. With out a big stash of cut wood...we should be about to clear some pretty generous fairways from the beginning. Then chip and place em as we do it.

The secret is to touch the trimmings one time and never again.

That being said, another way to stay out of trouble is to stay out of trouble in the first place. Keep em on the fairways and you'll be just fine sir!

Sounds like you'd make a great volunteer sir...you a Northlunder sir?

Yessiree Bob. I'll help anytime you need it, of course unless I'm working. Just shoot me an email sir & this Northlunder with bust his ass to help. I'd be totally stoked to help build the coming Smithville complex. I'm in Claycomo, so Old Pike and Waterworks are my mainstays, but if you need help ANYWHERE, just let me know, cuz I'm down!!

Oh, and by the way, I WAS putting it in the fairways at Rosey, on a couple holes anyways. ;D
