done leagues there at OP a couple of times.   My throws aren't quite the quality that everyone else's are, so i feel like i'm dragging my team8 down.  Maybe I'll show up again after I've improved some.

Seems kind of silly to put Old Pike on the Kansas City Flying Disc Club if none of the events that are run there benefit the club.  I know it is on private property and I appreciate being able to play there.  Is there any other courses on this forum that don't donate back to the club.  I know there are club members that have helped at Old Pike, maybe the powers that be could enlighten me on this.

P.S.  No unflocking unecessary comments, just asking a simple question.

You have a valid point. We've been discussing this at the EC level and plan to make some changes to the website and things. The main reason it's listed is because someone asked nicely.

Yates hasn't had any club events there that I am aware of and Smithville isn't even in the ground yet. So it isn't unprecedented to have Old Pike listed. But it is something we plan to address. Perhaps a section of the board called "Other Courses". In the meantime.....   8)

Kevin, Thanks for picking up on this and running with it.
Hopefully ALL courses that we know exist in the area will be listed and have directions.

Its a simple matter of the courses that have contracts with the KCFDC will be listed in our forum.  Those that do not have contracts will be "other".  It makes absolute perfect sense.  You dont want the other title, then ensure that the city has a contract with the KCFDC in order to be considered a "club" course.

Glover, it will not be up to us to put in the course location and directions, that will be for the people that know the course to enter its information.  We are not a GPS company.

I love glow; but, its too early for that.  We need to move up doubles league to 5:30 next week to finish in the light.  But, its tough to move it up much earlier.  At some point, we will convert to day/glo.

Mandos are reserved for bad hole designs only.  That and safety.  But if safety is the concern please read the first sentence again.

If they decide to move 2's tee pad and the picnic table then the double mando wouldn't be needed.
Mike and I played it that way and made for a very tight shot.
Thats a fun course. Hope everybody likes my hole name I'm coming up with.
