The short nine-holer in Sedalia is getting some finishing touches applied this Saturday, 8/28.
Work day - 9am start (although some will be there earlier to start drilling holes for tee signs and benches). It's an Eagle Scout project so anyone helping will get their hours counted toward his project. We'll be putting in formal tee signs and four benches primarily. I'd also like to remove more cedar trees and haul them off and if enough people show up install some of the alternate pin placements I have in mind. I have also been asked to mark the locations where nine nice trees they are purchasing need to be planted. I could sure use some help with that.
I have a couple of people that owe me a trip out to check it out, you know who you are...
If you are interested in coming out let me know. We now have twelve really nice tee boxes, nine original and three holes with longer alternates. Hopefully we'll get a few rounds in after the work is done.
I know the Day-Glow is happening so I don't expect anyone from KC but you never know...
