hopefully a mid-range this year.  i thought having a putter sucked last year.  Timko's course was sweet, but several of the holes were unreachable to players who dont throw putters long (like me).

I think that they are mid ranges again this year. Spencer Im sure you will do fine with what we come up with.
1)Your mother doesn't play disc golf so pick up your trash!

2)Mike Keizer knows all the badass places to eat.

3)John Theiss has plastic and chains running through his blood.

4)Barton knows whats up!

It's an overstable midrange.

Here's an entire thread about the disc:  http://discgolfreview.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=18681

I really wanted another putter though ;).

Neckbeard,
First, good shooting at LDO! Second, I agree. Though as we, Tim Becks, C. Timko, and EKolk, set up the course, Timko called one of those shots as unace-able, and I proceeded to smash it. I am a little biased towards Ace races as I can't seem to lay up.Hence, my crazy tournament play. :) However, I agree a midrange, similar to 2008's Nebula, levels the field for more players. And it seems Discraft has gone back to something like the Nebula by the looks of the rim. I call mine Buzz Jr. as it is a smaller diameter and slightly faster.

Eric, Thanks for putting this on! It's on my calendar. I imagine Theiss is gonna help out too, eh? That will rock, John's da man!

I hit the basket on that shot (the one up to #14's right basket from the road) during the actual event; so there wasn't a shot I'd really describe as un-acable.

That being said, I'd be willing to offer any counsel to Eric about the course itself.  We did 21 holes last year; I'd suggest not boxing yourself into the idea of only using 18 holes :).

Start the sign up soon, this was a blast last year!

I agree with Timko, don't limit it to 18 holes/72 players - if the park has room for temp holes add them!

Might be my first event after being on IR since June and I'm ready!

You can limit the player's packs, but you don't have to limit the holes :D.

I don't think you want someone that has to throw the disc sold in the ace race against those throwing the one they are comfortable with.  I agree with Mr. Parker, limit the number of people or order 100 and cap it at that.  Just an idea, can't wait to play in this, hopefully.

Sean the thing is you have to buy the packages up front.    The club has approved 72 packages.  If he wants to go to 100 he has to foot the rest of the bill and I don't know if he wants to do that.

Looks like the club might need to approve 100

I think we'd need to see some presale before we go approving stuff.   Are you willing to be first Fred?
