We'll help you on the width...and the way you play sir...W I D E R is better!

We will be 2.1" wider then the average basket but...

3" less deep!!!

So what's better at catching you officiandos, wider or deeper???

I suppose it depends on how well you're putting, but most likely the W I D E R, the better! We don't see too many jump out of most modern deep dish baskets anyway.

Folks,


   The ChainStar is identical to the DGA Mach V, except for the Discraft sticker on the pole. And apparently the inner and outer hang on the same ring at the bottom, if that makes sense.  The pole might be still be 1/16" larger in diameter than the Mach V.

Putts go thru the chains and out the other side, or thru the chains, bounce off the pole and out on DGA baskets a lot.  >:(  I'm not sure if it's because the chain is lighter gage than a Discatcher, or if it has something to do with the attachment at the top or bottom, but they just don't catch as good as Discatchers. Oh well, I suppose they are better than painted trees, or tone poles.  ::)

i have seen the Mach V spit numerous times if you hit low center on the chains.  However, i have seen them swallow up many field aces and an ace. 

I am curious about stats for short and long distance spit outs for different baskets.  Many perfer one basket over another.   But for the baskets that people perfer for catching putts, are they just as good for catching field aces or aces? 

Is there a basket that is able to have some give for a lazer blast drives but can still grab/hold and not spit out  good solid putts?

I wish the Mach III came powder coated more often than for just fund raisers.
