its #4 or possibly #7, both not on here, so it has to be #6

There are 3 distinct lines any time of the year, and in the winter there is a Sky Hyzer route that gives it 4.  Play the hole backwards sometime.  Taking away any of the remaining trees will create a HUGE cheater gap that anyone can hit.  thus it becomes a boring hole at that point to throw a RHBH slow hyzer.

I suggest on a Sunday monring at Cliff we play it backwards one of these weeks.  It really helps to open the eyes to many different approaches that you may want to take to go down a fairway.

But then I will leave that idea to the man running the show.

I suggest on a Sunday morning at Cliff we play it backwards one of these weeks.

this from the man who was whining that he wasn't prepared to play such a long course just a few weeks ago.  i think there would be too many weird holes down walking path and too much hunting for discs.  i'd have to try it a couple of times before we did it at anything official.

poll closes in 54 days, and as expected hole 11 has no votes because in comparison

        a. it really is a lame hole when it is short
        b. destroying the earth as we know it is inherent if you land in the res
        c. brush obscures the view of the evolving graffiti, and is a deterrent to a flex route over the res
        d. all other holes listed totally kick ass
        e. the roller route is not an option
        f. you are tired from walking the road to the tee with an ice cold beer in your hand
        g. you are intimidated by somalian driving intructors
        h. you never know what's around the corner at cliff drive

4 was far superior in the old days, when the TV was still there.  There were 2 lines, hyzers from both arms, and if you tried to drive the pin and missed, you're in trouble.  If you went easy, good chance of par.  It was beautiful.  Then all the trees came down.  grrrrrrrrrrr.....

sorry jamie, this is a sentimental favorite for me because it sets up well for me and i've spent more time on that hole than any other since i began working at cliff drive.  still have more work to do on both pins.  i voted for hole 6 because i believe its the best hole in all of kc.  imo hole 4 would be better without the left flex route and hole 7 would be better if you were forced to go up the middle.  these would add to the wide array of shots that must be executed to score well at CD.

believe me hole 11 is my third fav. @ cliff in the long position, it's like playing the entire waterworks course twice. a deuce there is so possible even for a weenie arm like me, i just wish the graffiti was more visible, as i am an avid fan of the arts, and an escalator was by the road to move players up to the tee, really cold beer frostbites my fingers.

I've always been a big fan of hole #6 at Cliff.  It was my favorite the 1st time I played the course after moving here, and it still remains my favorite.

While I do like #6 and it's DU like qualities, #17 on the island has to be my favorite. If you are long enough to bomb it down by the big tree (which I'm not) then you are left with the choice; go for the bird or lay up and take the par?

Okay, So Jamie Somali is the adjective. I get to know this in my line of work.

My favorite hole at Cliff is #4 in any position. Tuesday this week, I sent a wizard 18 inches over the top on a left to right hyzer flip. In middle position in the circle almost every time, risk reward is easy there. Long, love it. Throw it harder down hill, that's just fun.

Best hole at Cliff is 6 (unless you are a controlled south paw)
