That sounds really cool.  I would like to know what type of feedback the players give.  It sounds like you get to use your own plastic and you get one tournament disc?  So, what is the rest of the money going to?  Are you playing for Cash payouts, merch, food/beverage?  It would be cool to play in an event where you can bring your overstable, stable, and understable discs Rocs or Buzzzes.

Then I guess we have a local who knows a little about what that tourney should look like/what course it would be good at.

I don't think you can go too short, if you do you have some people who would want to drive a putter and that seems to be disallowed.

That sounds like fun.  I personally find that the Buzz is my favorite disc and even though I am just starting out,  I can throw it further than my drivers most of the time,  which isnt really saying much.   about 150 ft or so.  /shrug

I would probably make the course a combination of long and short holes. Just because your throwing a midrange doesn't mean every hole needs to be under 300'.

Yes.  Myself and Cooper Arnold will run it next year.  Probably an early spring date.  That's as much planning as I'm going to do in 2010 :).

I dunno Dan.  Isn't Smithville just a bit too far for such a traveler as myself?
