This will be one of the locations that you can find out more about Black Thorn...the last of the 3 courses to be completed for the Smithville Disc Golf Complex!

Things are heating up and just as soon as the weather cooperates, we will be right back in the process of planting 18 more baqskets and laying out 36 t-pads!

Black Thorn will be the last course to go in. Baskets in just as soon as we can...then hopefully t-pads and the end of 2011 Summer!

Black Thorn's Blue practice basket needs some loving...in Shelter #2's parking lot island.

After you throw #5 on the Beave', throw to the blue practice basket from #5's basket.

We do it for a $1 CTP...nice bonus shot!!

Black Thorn, our Blue Course offering, is currently in a redesign state! ...we need to get those baskets in soon so we can start all the concrete work.

54 t-pads sounds a little hairy but we will just do it one course at a time and knowing what a great bunch of park guys we have to help...sure is a big relief off my mind!

Several emails asking for directions to Black Thorn once you are in the park-

1. Go like you are going to Beaver but take first left LEFT before Beaver Basket #7. (Shelter #2 Drive)

2. Come down to first picnic table tree combo you see on the left & look for the Hole #1 blue signs.

Starts there...ends down right of Shelter #2...right next to Beaver #3 & #4.
