yes they are clean thanks to byod. hope to see everyone out. by the way, brandon and I spanked dan and paul in dubs yesterday. 9 down to 5 down.    ;D

Casual Saturday Doubles, 3/12 (Sunny 55 - 57, wind North 8 - 10 mph)

Nine players out for Casual Doubles at Legacy on a beautiful afternoon.  Course was in excellent condition.  Decided to play mobgolf since it was such a nice day.  Pretty even teams...after the front 9, four teams were tied at even...then Collin/Dan got hot with 7 consecutive birds (11 thru 17), to cruise to the 2 stroke win with a 48 (really could of been a memorable round, had 10 birds with 2 bogies and a double bogie ::))...SteelerDoug/Sean took a bogey on 10, then heated up with 5 birds of their own to take second with a 50.  Shots of note...Paul over the tree line on #3 Long...Collin pin high on #4 Short, about 40' out...Collin parked just behind #17 Long...

In general, we don't reschedule league based on forecast...plus, too many people don't actually check the board, so changing times can cause confusion...

Hopefully, the weather will cooperate and we'll play at 12:30 as scheduled...

Well....with rain pending we decided to play $1, $1, $1 and managed to get 3 holes in before it started raining...quit after 5 holes...

With Jay playing Kan-U-Wyco, I'll be running league again next week...

Fair weather golfer alert...

No Saturday Doubles this week...Jay is playing Kan-U-Wyco, I have a conflict (and don't relish the idea of potentially playing in the cold & wet), and haven't heard from anyone else who wants to run it.

Next Saturday Doubles are Saturday 4/2 at 12:30, if you have any questions give me a call at 816-210-1063.

Casual Saturday Doubles, 4/2 (Sunny 65 - 72, wind South - Southwest 5 - 8 mph)

Eleven players out for Casual Doubles at Legacy on a beautiful afternoon.  Course was in excellent condition.  Played alternate tees on #13, #15, and #16.  Jay/Jose had a runaway win shooting a 46...they birdied 6 of their first 9 holes, including all of the alternate tees.  Billy/Brandon were the first of the also rans with a 50 to take second.  Other significant birds...Boyd/Lee on #7 Long, James/Jordan on alt #15.  Everyone chipped in a extra dollar before the round for a CTP on #11 short...James took the cash with his 4' park job.

Only 4 players out with Sean catching up with us on 12. Decided to play some $5 singles...Boyd had the hot winning round.   

Please post if you're interested in playing this Saturday (most of the League regulars will be representing at the GBO)...

I find it hard to believe there is no organized gathering on Saturdays anywhere.  If there is, lemme know please.  Can't play during the week, hate to think Sunday is the only day when people get together during the weekend.
