My thoughts on the 2010 PDGA Worlds Release...
« on: December 03, 2010, 07:39:41 AM »
http://www.pdga.com/2010-pro-worlds-dvd-released

Is it just me?   Or does the PDGA hate the fact that a Discraft player won the Championships?   Did anyone else notice that when EMac won the event they never showed his face on the website?   Though every other tournament ran had a picture of the winner?   Then I see that the DVD was released on the website.  Notice the picture of the winner?   Kind of cropped and crappy.

Not that I am a huge supporter of Discraft but really PDGA?  Is Innova so far up your butt you can't give the other company a little love.   Or forget the company.   Eric won the worlds and if you were not watching the dots or scorecard or happen to catch our forum I bet you don't know who even won?!?!

Ah well..  My rant is over.. One more thing before I go...

Watch the DVD preview.   When you get to 23 seconds in to the video tell me if that guy in the middle looks like someone we know.....   WHO could it be (it isn't him but sure looks like it)... Let the guessing game begin!

wow dick. I've had similar feelings so I can appreciate your frustration.
I just assumed it was because Sprout was from kansas and it was a fred phelps/evolution? what's evolution? kinda slam.

just say glow, throw Discraft, and it will not only relax your puckered parts but open up your mind to new possibilities.......

My good friend always gets the shaft. The year he won the players cup was the first year they jacked up the payout. And if you didn't know anything about disc golf you'd probally think Avery was the World Champ, so that's why I enjoy correcting reality, Eric is a kansan & World Champ!!

I have thought that since the day he won.   I think you can go back to the Worlds Topic and find me complaining about that amongst many other things I'm sure.

Can't be hating on Innova for not pimping E-mac cause he's d-craft, That's unjust. Hell, Nate won the USDGC and Innova made a Nate Doss USDGC champ disc and made mention of there congratulatory on the Innova front page... Thats respect Also, The players cup is a DISCraft event, so the payouts reduction should be blamed accordingly. He has been recouped by his sponsor, and rightfully so....

ps. we all know who the world champ is.....................................

FTW E-TOWN REPRESENTs!!!

Discraft, Innova, Gateway??  It doesn't matter, Champ is Champ.  I also noticed the lack of coverage over E-Mac's win. Kind of swept under the rug type of thing going on.  They seemed to make a deal out of Ken's 12 and Avery's 1 but no mention of a steadily proved player like Eric.  I know Eric in Emporia "before he was famous," one of the greatest people/players in the world and deserves his time in the spotlight.  Also like him, us Emporians (lol) know the world is against us and don't take this kind of sh1t to heart.  I'm sure Eric knows that he won and the people important to him have told him "Congrats."  That is what Class is, Eric will continue to play with class and WILL become a Legend in our sport.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my brand new disc the most.

Yes Tank but let us not remember.    Nate is the Golden Child of disc golf.  His discs were chosen for him by the one they call Crazy.  It was prophesied by Nostradamus ...  " There shall be a child born unto the world that shall be a 2 time world champion.   His name shall be.... Nate... and he will rule the Discraft nest for 5 years and then after his reign, he shall meet his Queen.  But she will be of other decent.   Not cut of the same plastic.    And she shall take his powers and become even more powerful than he.    And you shall call her She devil.   Or Val for short.  "

With that type of lineage there is no hope for any other Discraft player to be successful.

From the book of Val

'I bring Truth and Understanding
I bring Wit and Wisdom fair
Precious discs beyond compare
We can build a world of wonder
I can make you all aware'

The people were delighted
Coming forth to claim their prize
They ran to build their courses
And converse among the wise

In her dreams appeared a vision of a perfect sphere
and within the sphere was a lesson

"We can walk our road together
If our goals are the same
We can run alone and free
If we pursue a different aim

Let the truth of Love for disc be lighted
Let the love of Truth for disc shine clear
Sensibility
ARMED with sense and strategy
With the Heart and Mind united
In a single perfect sphere"
