I think it's funny how much credit they give the Big 12 when they match up one of your division leaders against a 5 loss, unranked team from the Big 10 (Iowa, a miserable 4&4 in their own conference).

The best team lost the game. It happens. I'm not sure what the replay official saw that could have possibly overturned the call on the field on that last pass play, but the fact is that Mizzou shouldn't have let Iowa hang around that long in the first place.

Or they will make it to the Championship game, where they will have their asses handed to them the entire game before the opposing team gift-wraps the game for KU by missing a bunch of free throws down the stretch and allowing one of the KU scrubs to sink a lucky 3-pointer. See, see! It IS possible for the better team to lose games!

No excuses, but, schedules are made a coupla/few years in advance.  Assuming the Big 12 holds up, expect KSU/MU/UT/OSU/TA&M to be in or near the top 10 as the season transpires.

all this hate towards KU.  they freakin own MU in basketball.  pretty sure we won by 20 in columbia last year.  and really that's all that matters.  stomping the ass out of your divisions rivals.  yes, just like MU did to KU in football this year.
and even if you do lose to a lower seed in the tourney, at least you're there.  and KU is always there.  only one team can win it all.  Duke almost lost to butler last year.  one shot away.

now, why did some kid i've never heard of in my life smoke MU for over 200 yards rushing.

Do you think that UNI was a better team than KU last year? Almost no one would say that...yet UNI won anyway.
