Those attending Ice Bowl have likely already contributed to the charity by purchasing a package. I see nothing wrong with trading plastic at Ice Bowl, and doubt anyone is going to be excited about getting used discs as a CTP prize.

Not arguing about trading plastic at the ice bowl, just wanting to have some swag to give away to some kids.  Nothing different than what so many of us do already when we take out your beginner friends to play the first time.

Ask and you shall receive.  WOW that was fast thanks.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my brand new disc the most.

I think anthony's idea is a great one. A LOT of people are already giving money toward the charity by showing up,paying, and not whining. This event brings a lot of disc golfers together in one setting and there seems to be alot of banter about getting a trade or disc selling venue together.
Right now it seems to get a good deal on plastic, you either need a scorned ex to liquidate via craigslist, or wait until Kaiser's inner voice get's louder than his sense of logic!....Or in my case, you get to cargo largo earlier than anyone else.
I will be there to donate money to which ever cause the ice bowl contributes to this year but I also hope to be looking for good deals on plastic now!  ;D
John, I think what you are doing with the youth expo is awesome! Maybe instead of us hackers though, you could hit up DGW, or Dynamic Discs, LS Discs, or Discs unlimited. As you know these are great companies that already profit from the sport and could probably just write off their donations!
