My First Disc Dying

So I decided to attempt dying my own discs today.   Here she is:

Well I can see how a person could have some fun with this.  I went to a sign shop in Paola and got some scrap vinyl and basically followed the instructions in the vids.  I practiced on a disc that accidentally made it into a campfire one night then did these. Anybody else dying them?

First, an Innova mini and then a star TL (2010 Ice Bowl CTP prize!)

For smooth round edges it is a lot easier to do with a swivel exacto knife instead of a standard. But for straight lines the fixed blade is best.

My wife happened to have an exacto circle cutter and it worked well for the big circle.  The rest were done freehand with calm enhanced!!! 

Timko is correct, lots of great stuff on the DGR forum (thats where I stole the Pulp fiction design from 8) )  If I ever want a really nice dye I'll pay one of them to do it.
