2011 Weekly League Schedule

Here's the schedule for the 2011 league season, as well as the people we have initially signed up to run leagues.  Like last year, The official season will run from April 1st to September 30th, but the ace funds will be available throughout DST as long as there are 4 non-women, no juniors playing.

Fees, payout, and potential divisions will be forthcoming in the next week or so as soon as I'm able to meet with the league coordinators.

Sunday
PHill - Dan Coffman
Cliff Drive - Drew Nietzel (not weekly)

Monday
Swope - Van Spratford
Prairie Center - Tom Butler

Tuesday
Shawnee Mission Park - James McLaughlin
New Players/Women @Rosedale - Ben and Rhonda Crosby

Wednesday
Rosedale - Rodney Beagle
Blue Spring - Eric Minton

Thursday
Waterworks - Ted Keith

Friday
Legacy - Jay Cram
WyCo - Nick Winklebaur

After some Legacy folks voiced concern about moving to Mondays, Legacy is back on Friday, and Swope will be on Monday.

Point Series has not been discussed.  I won't really have time to run it because I'm putty my exteracurricular DG activities into other ventures at the moment.

New players/womens league is at Rosedale.  I've updated the league to reflect that.

Is there no longer a weekly league at cliff because there is nobody to run it?

I might know someone who would be willing to do that if that is the case.  ;)

that was the main reason.  I cannot commit to being there every Monday, and it was the least attended league, and we have leagues everywhere.

I am finding it harder and harder to find time to do as much disc related items as I would like, and I really see that getting only smaller.

If someone wants to run it, I would play it.  I would help where I can as well.  I have heard a few people upset that its not happening as well.  Though I would say move it to Tuesday Night may be a better fit with the new schedule, at hurting the other attendance of KCFDC Leagues.

Jack I was thinking Tuesday night as well. Then I realized this morning that Tuesday is Old Pike league, so that probably wouldn't work out so well for the attendance.

What a problem to have, so many courses around that we can't have a league night at every one.

Would it be possible to do Sunday evening league at cliff. I know Drew was doing Sunday morning or afternoon. But it wasn't always happening. If you did a regular league on Sunday Nights you might get a good turn out. Just a thought. Or once Wyco gets ripped out, that would open up Friday Nights.

i like the thought.  league at 5 on sundays might be nice.  a few of the p hill crowd might make it if their league starts on time.

Saw that there is a League this Sunday @ 4:00 @ Cliff, maybe things to come in the future as well for Sundays @ Cliff?

Has summer league began?  I was thinking of playing league either tomorrow or thursday and wasn't sure exactly on start times and format, can anyone answer?

Not officially until April 1st.  It sounds like Waterworks will be doing Glow on Thursday.  I'm not sure what's happening today.
