Alexsky Bubis, WW#1, LONG  508' with a roc during the rain delay warm up at the Wide Open, and yes I paid on the spot, even though it didn't "count"...My cool factor went up 1/2 point with him I bet on that...it was freaking sweet, couldn't believe that he did it with an ROC.....

sorry, boobies' doesn't qualify! ace is first drive during a round, be it casual, league, tourney etc. while he did make an amazing shot and jumped around like a kansas city fancy boy, it doesn't count for this discussion.

it was freakin awesome.  but he did throw many times before that.

i saw doug kantro ace hole 1 at waterworks in the middle placement on the hill.  not the longest but the coolest i've seen.  teebird i think, thrown right at the basket.  we had a group of 5 or so and there were a few golfers setting at the table who all saw it too.  first throw of the day, first throw of our card on the first hole.  not even a practice putt thrown before that.  it was an obvious line as soon as it left his hand and just crashed the chains.

but would have been 100' past had it missed....

sure hope andrea comes home soon from studying abroad, give ace something to focus on beside slamming the chains. and his aces pale in comparison to his putting! he keeps this up and he'll be playing pro 1 in no time.

I'm confused... how did your cool factor go up with him? Do you mean his went up with you because of the disc selection? I would understand that.

probably because he gave him the $5, even though it was a practice shot.

That was my longest ace in a casual round, but it took a Destroyer, then I turned around and sprained my ankle celebrating... I was only able to limp through hole 7.
Then someone stole the Destroyer.  >:(

Don't do anything if you can't handle the celebration.
Missouri....our state animal is sterile, our state rock is lead, and we elected a dead guy to the U.S. Senate.  Of course, he was the best candidate.
