Starting sometime this month Olathe Parks will have silver trash cans to help disc golfers recycle plastic bottles and cans. Now we can not only claim to have the park with the most fun, but also we can also feel a little better about doing our part to save the planet from global warming. Then again we like global warming, so just make sure you drive your smog producer a long distance to get there.

I don't even know what this means? Agreeing with Mantis would be a very republican stance. But not all republicans reject global warming as fact by any means. Unfortunately this isn't a political issue. It's an issue involving hard science that can be proven and reproduced in a lab and can be witnessed in the environment. These aren't theories or hypotheses. Global warming is an overwhelmingly accepted scientific fact. The only people I have seen trying to claim it isn't a reality are either quack scientists or big business (and the politicians that support them) with ulterior motives and of course the fools that swallow their BS.

Doesn't matter whether global warming is real or a myth... there seems to be no harm in treating mother earth a little better for other quite important reasons too.

There's been rapid rise and fall of Earth's temperatures going back millions of years.  There's also been a rise in Mars temperatures lately IN THE SAME PROPORTION AS THE EARTH'S RISE IN TEMPERATURE.  Man must be really influential to cause Mars to heat up, or cattle farts must be very potent...
