Question of Money for the PDGA savvy

I have a question for all you in the know about the PDGA.  If LaCastro and Anthon tied, why did LaCastro earn more money?

There we no ties actually, if you look at the payout.

My best assumption is that they broke ties by low round.  If 2 were tied after that, they looked at the low round of the 3rd round, etc.

Yeah, I guess that was my question.    They both ended the tournament with -33, but were paid differently.   Thanks Timko.

Speaking of Missouri, I thought they were supposed to be good at home this season? Oh well, seven Big 12 titles in a row for the Jayhawks courtesy of the tiggers is sweet.

Im sure they just plugged in all the payouts in before the event was even done... look down the page... none of the ties are listed as split

this is correct.  these scores and payouts are not "official".  at the top of the page it says "unofficial results".  keep an eye on these as they will be adjusted in the near future.

nikko and josh should each get ($2500 + $2000) / 2 = $2250 each.

emac, blazek, and feldberg should each get ($1200 + $1100 + $1000) / 3 = $1100 each.

that is if they don't adjust the spacing all together.
