BV is not for the average or recreational player.

Most of the holes are the same delivery due to the distance. Drive to fairway,  another same drive, maybe a third same drive too, then lay up and putt out or try for a long distance putt.

Some of the holes are fun there, though there are not many of them, but enough to play the course two or three times a year.

Thank You to all who volunteer at BV cleaning up and improving the course too. It's really appreciated.

Looking forward to it Kujo.

I have a few hours this upcoming three day weekend to donate. I'm not working, not on call, not going out of town too, so what can I do?

The course just wears people out, I see A LOT of people quit after #12. Bringing an extra bottle of water and a snack is a good idea.
Most of the work that goes on at BV right now is to flesh out the shorter placements on the course. By the end of the summer every hole will have a long and a short placement, all new maps, new flags, and a few more benches.

LOVE THIS!

For the person that throws only 300' yes.  For those with distance it isn't.  You can't look at this like it's "a course designed for my little arm strength" like the Penguins playoff run.

Look at it for the top people playing that truly want to drive it more.  The biggest argument made that is valid is the RHBH favoritism that it has for said throwers.

For people of moderate discipline, Doug may be on to something, but then again he is old, and this wasn't planned to cater to the guys going older and only throwing their boss katana starlight bubble 300-350..... ::)
