Be Part of the Solution—Adopt a Hole

I just played 11 holes shortly after the rain stopped today, and saw first hand how important it is to get chips down, especially on holes 3 through 7. If you have truck to haul chips to these areas, please give Bill Neenan a call at 816.868-1977. We are also need several strong backs to load the chips and then spread them. Of course, if someone has a Bobcat to load the trucks, that would greatly reduce the person power needed.

Yes Jack i noticed a couple truck loads have been droped in addition to the big pile that was already there. What we need now is another truck to help me get it out on the coarse this weekend. Anybody please hepl us out.

Still recovering from the sun burn I picked up on Sunday, but I would say it was worth it considering how much better the place looks. I'd be glad to assist with any future work that needs to be done up there.

I need to know which pins are missing flags.  I think that we will get flags for WW, but probably not for Cliff at this point.....If someone could help me out with that information it would be great.

Sorry I've been unable to mess with the rock project on #13. These 12-hour days at work aren't leaving me with time for much of anything. The rocks are there if anyone is feeling froggy.

hole 4 @ waterworks, we could use about 100 cubic feet of red mulch to make this really cool, this took 50 cubic feet this morning, thanks to ted trucking it in and spreading the peace!

That looks very cool Jami.

However, shouldn't we be removing rocks from the fairways/greens instead of adding them?

technically it's not the fairway, rocks or ties are needed on the sloped greens of 4, 6, 7, 8, 15, 16, 18 to prevent erosion, and it keeps the players safe, and protects the entire city from being washed to olathe, we don't want that to happen.

Played WW this afternoon and all I can say is WOW!  Hole 4, the new stairs between 5 and 6, and the wacked vegetation on 13 come to mind immediately.  Thanks to everyone who put in the effort, I consider myself lucky to live near such an amazing DG community!
