Since the new website update, I've noticed I have to log out with each DISCussion/forum visit to take advantage of the "Show unread posts since last visit" function for when I next visit.  When I don't log out, I must then click on each header indicating there are unread messages and click on the unread posts w/in each thread. 

Also, when I do log in with each new visit, it has become necessary to enter my password in twice...as it rejects it the first time.  Yes, I typed it correctly.

This is certainly not the end of the world, but I was able to remain logged in 'forever' before the update with no issues. 

So far, any strategy on my end has offered only a temporary fix...IE deleting cookies, log-in's, etc...  K-Mont has been patient trying to assist me with this, but so far, no dice.  Any suggestions out there?  Is anyone else experiencing these issues?

My recommendation is to use FireFox.  I haven't seen any changes in functionality since the update.

Thanks, that may be a solution.  We have Internet Explorer/Exploder...and I have no issues elsewhere with other forums/discussion boards, fwiw.

i would think it is a cookie or an autocomplete hanging on.  since you've deleted the cookies try the autocomplete settings.  internet options, content tab, and choose settings for AutoComplete.  choose delete autocomplete history, uncheck preserve at the top and check everything else to wipe it all and hit delete.  you'll need to close and reopen ie after and if it's a networked pc you may have to log out of windows.

I too have to re-enter both my user name and password twice unless I have my Norton identity safe unlocked.
It autofills and auto opens the site easily.
I asked why a seperate window opens for discussion instead of using the same window.
I guess its hard to fix cause I asked that to K-Mont a few weeks back.
He has the same problem and is still happening.
Its really not a problem.  Just a question and or request.

because we want it that way.  You can easily go back the the site and review things without leaving the discussion board.

Problem solved thanks to Becky!  
Instead of going to the KCFDC.org homepage and either opening another window or tab to the forum/DISCussion...just go direct via http://kcfdc.org/forum/index.php.  Type it into your browser & bookmark it.  Thus far everything has functioned like the good ol' days.

I put the discussion part as to where I direct my identity safe to open it to bypass the homepage.
That seems to delete having to retype everything.

Actually it may just look that way but next time just try logging in without entering anything I bet it works.
