7th Annual KC Disc Golf Day

May 7th, 9 AM to 4 PM at Rosedale Park

$20 gets you a "Tree Love" disc and t-shirt, as well as one free chance at both the Distance and Putting Contests.

Play a round of golf and enter your scorecard in a raffle for prizes, including a mini-basket

Distance and Putting contests with prizes-$5 for 3 chances

Mini golf-$5 per round

I was just 'recruited', 'suckered', 'tricked into' cooking burgers at the KC DG Day

Of course I'm just kidding about the above, I'm glad to help out!

BTW - No salmon, you'll have to play the Prostate Cancer Doubles for those bad boys!  ;)

Yes, Dave will be grilling burgers, and frosty beverages will be served, but we could use some side dishes and desserts, so feel free to bring your favorites to share!

We will have a raffle for a Discatcher Traveler, and many other prizes, just come out, play your round and turn in your scorecard. If you have prizes you'd like to donate to the raffle, please PM me here.

We will be awarding a Mini Basket to the winner of the Mini Golf Contest, and other prizes for the distance and putting contests.

The weather report looks promising, so it's shaping up to be a GREAT day for disc golf in KC! Come out and join the fun.

Disc Golf Day is coming! Each year, the Great Frisbee rises out of the Disc Golf course that he thinks is the most sincere. He's gotta pick this one. He's got to. I don't see how a Disc Golf course can be more sincere than this one. You can look around and there's not a sign of hypocrisy. Nothing but sincerity as far as the eye can see. The Great Frisbee will fly thru the air, bringing presents to all the boys and girls of the world.  ;D

Be there for it.  8)

Had a blast...shot my best two rounds of the year so far (one up top and one DU).  Thanks to Becky and Tavish for putting it on.  Thanks to David for grilling the burgers.  Thanks to Dick for the awesome (as usual) Mini Golf round.  Thanks to Fred for the helpful hints on my drives...hopefully it will help in the long run.  And, finally, thanks to anyone else I am forgetting that helped out.

Awesome day!!!  Weather was finally warm without being +30mph winds. Nice work on the weather Becky and Tavish :).

Thanks to Van and Jim for running the longest drive (even though I got busy gabbing and missed my turn).  I don't think I was putting it out there farther than JayCram though (525ft, nice throw!!).

Thanks to Dave for cooking the burgers they were great!!

Thanks to Dick for the help with the putting contest, mini golf and running the sound. Cool shirts and discs (Tavish and Dick).

Thanks to Fred and everyone else who helped with check-in.

Thanks to everyone for donating the prizes it is good just to be out golfing with folks, but prizes are icing on the cake!!

Thanks to anyone I missed.

It was a great day for KC Disc golf.

Thanks to everyone one involved. My daughter and I had a blast. I suspect we will be coming to DGD for the rest of our years, she's hooked.

Disc Golf World now has 2011 Disc Golf Day Packages (Tshirt & DX Disc) for $15!   

We have Green shirts in L - XL - XXL - XXXL and Faded Brown in - L - XL - XXL.

As far as discs go we have DX Aviar - Roc - Valkyrie - Destroyer

Supplies are limited so come and get them while they last!
