Bluebird Tournament at Lake Shore on Saturday June 18

Just a reminder that the Pleasant Hill Bluebird tourney at Lake Shore is coming up in 2 weeks on Saturday June 18.  The city (as usual) is doing an exceptional job on keeping the park and course groomed. Entry fees are reasonable and this could be a step towards becoming a Missouri State Champion.  Camping is only $5 a night for those of you who like to camp.  Probably be a little glow action Saturday night, plus League at 12:30 on Sunday.

I talked to City of Pleasant Hill (Brian) and they're just providing the course, Missouri Parks are actually putting the event on.  Brian referred me to Kyle Crews (LSPR) who is the Regional Coordinator for the Bluebird series. Here's more detail on the event...

• Signups are 8 to 10 am.
• Players meeting at 10 am with the first round to immediately follow.
• First round will be in short pin settings (Rec and Juniors play 1 round only).
• Second round will start 1 hour after last card finishes first round (approximatley 1pm).
• Second round will be in long pin settings.
• Do not need to be a Missouri resident to play.
• Not a requirement to participate in Bluebird series to play event.
• Proshop will be setup by Kyle in conjunction with DGW for amateur payout and sales.
• Course OB and Drop Zones will be similar to Afternoon D Lite
