The Eastern Front is expanding to two courses and will be using not only Young Park, but also Pleasant Hill. Both courses are located just off 7 Hwy and only 20 minutes apart. If you have never played in an event, this will be a great opportunity to start. The Eastern Front is focused on getting new players out, having fun, casual but competitive golf, affordability, sweet players packs with dinner provided after the second round, unofficial glow round, and camping. The players pack will include a dri-fit event shirt, dinner after the second round, and three glow lights for a random draw dubs glow later in the evening. The Glow Round will kick off after dinner once cash and prizes have been redeemed.
Young Park will be utilizing its various tee pads for different divisions. The course will be set long and Pros will be teeing off on all long pads testing their pro's skills, the Advanced divisions will use a few shorter pads, and the Recretional division will use more short pads. Pleasant Hill will have some OB string lines, an island hole, and some longer pads for the pro's. Advanced players will use some of the alterations while the Rec Division will play the normal course without the changes.
The is the second year of the Eastern Front. I wanted to expand to Pleasant Hill to offer folks the opportunity to stick around after the players party meal, play some glow, and even camp out. Pleasant Hill is a beautiful spot to play and camp. Players will get a balanced day of golf being tested at Young on accuracy, risk reward holes, miracle shots and saves, and then get to open it up at Pleasant Hill throwing bombs, being tested by the wind, and throwing many ace runs.
First Round Starts at 10:00am at Young Park
Second Round starts around 2:30-3:00 at Pleasant Hil
