I am looking for the best place to go see some fireworks this weekend.  Who has the best displays/celebrations?

I'd bet a little closer to 9:15 to 9:30ish...but being on a work night I'd play it safe and arrive 8:00ish.

Directions-

169 North to 180st Street

Go East, the only way you can turn and stay straight (DO NOT CURVE LEFT ON F) until you Enter in to Little Platte Park.

The ball golf course entrance will be on your left…keep going straight.

Immediately after the guard shack, turn right on Beach Road and then your first left onto Shelter road. Stay to the right hook and drive to Shelter one.

Questions- Dan@DanWeinert.com or 816-812-6265

Is the dam close to the area you'll be at Dan?
 Here's information I found.

7. Smithville Marina Fireworks Display
Smithville Marina holds it's annual festivites with a huge display shot off the Smithville dam. View at the marina, by boat, or at the Smith's Fork Park.
•Where: Smithville Lake, Smithville, MO. Smith Fork Park is located at 1601 DD Highway.
•When: Dusk, July 4th.

the marina is 70 ft from  woodhenge 18's basket, follow the southwest tiedown from marina to 18's green, and 10 meters to the basket. but it looks like the best view is at the beaver.

Beaver #18 is the place to be...might get in some glow action as well.

I'll light up a few baskets...all of them if want.

We hope to see you all there!

Tank- We are meeting at my house in Smithville at 5:00...then the boys are heading up to secure some real estate and get a round in.

The ladies will be up at about 8:00 or so...we are having a neighborhood party with a jazz band and stuff like that here. They will enjoy that before they come to the park!

I'll have my cell on- 816-816-6265.

Chairs down by Beav's 18 basket should be fun!

Last minutes plan for the Fourth- Block party, cool jazz band & leave for the lake ay 8:30 for the BIG fireworks extravaganza & night glow fun!

Neighborhood behind Smithville McDonalds, right on Shannon, 3 blocks on your right. If you're lost, roll down the windows and listen for the jamms.

Beaver Beach Nightclub & Glow Course opens at 8:00 and goes till the end!

Tank, Jamie D & who know who else will be there.

Pics to follow!!
