how do you orchestrate this then across the field? What becomes a standard? Well, I'll play for $2, but Tim will only play for $5 more, and then Tank wants to play for $20.....so you have all these chefs in the kitchen, who gets it to the table? And at what time?
It has to be a method to the madness. I don't think that the the PRO2 division is a needed division. You either play the following:
Pro
AM
Then you can have age protected and division protected. You don't split the Pro field into 2, now 3 divisions....(Masters is a Pro division, so essentially you put in a third division....)
I didn't grasp the entire issue as well as I should have in the March meeting, I didn't think through all the ramifications that have came from this process change. It hurtsnew players drastically in the system, as no one seems to want to play on the "am" side of things, and people may play once, then not retrun without any competition....
