TWO MAN SCRAMBLE BLIND DRAW TOURNAMENT October 1st 2011
« on: August 01, 2011, 04:13:13 PM »
*****Two Man Scramble Blind Draw Tournament*****

We had such a great time this Spring with the BACA tournament, we have been convinced by some of our friends to put on another event to bring some new people into this sport. This is where all you players of experience come in.  We are hosting a two man blind draw tournament (1 round of 18) with one experienced player paired up with one new player. There will be the usual players package included in your entry each player package will have a t-shirt and a mid-range disc included so an inexperienced player will be able to play if he has no disc's of his own. Lunch will be included at the Elk's lodge soft drinks included, the bar will be available if you want to purchase something else.  There will be a CTP for tickets to the MU-KU border war game at the Chiefs Stadium.

This is a  FUN Charity tournament, but a great way to introduce some new people who are  interested in learning this sport but otherwise would never try without the help of players like you.

Tournament will be held at Young Park in Blue Springs, October 1, 2011
$30.00 entry fee (includes T-shirt and disc with lunch at the Lodge with CTP)
Divisions:  Experienced
               Beginner

The flier reads like this is a one round tournament.
Is that correct?

I think this is the same day as 'The Big Shunga' in Topeka.
Just an FYI

Every 19 minutes a man, dies from the disease.

You are correct it is the same weekend. This is not a sanctioned tournament. It is aimed at getting new players into the sport of disc golf. It is also a charity tournament. We were looking at scheduling around KC tournaments.

just set up an accoutn yourself, and then have them send it to you!  Be sure to add in the paypal fee, it goes up as the amount does, generally speaking, a service charge of $3 should cover the expense of that as well.

If anyone knows of new players that would like tournament experience. This would be a great opportunity for them.

Players package is coming together. T-shirts are here, they look awesome !!!! Thanks Fore Twenty disc golf. Discs have been bought ( Thanks Disc Golf World )
Entries are slowly coming in. Anyone not going to big Shunga should come out and help promote the great sport we all love. Help teach and bring new players to our sport. Still need some experienced players.
