9-9-11 Workday planned
« on: August 30, 2011, 09:15:26 PM »
I am planning a work day out at Cliff Drive on Friday 9-9-11 to prepare for the Tree Love Classic, if you can help out please let me know.

Primary functions will be to work around the wooded holes and clean up holes #1-#6, with the primary goals being as follows:
#1 Green area from short pin to long pin
#2 Clean up around the green, and off the pad
#3 Work up along the green and the fiarway (rocks) removing weeds and cleaning the hillside slightly
#4 Clear downed trees and give it a haircut
#5 Give it a haircut
#6 find a good plan to get up the hill....
#7 clean in front of pad
#8 Long clean up aroud there
#10 Long give it a haircut

As we move into the colder months, I hope to go do more work out there now that Drew is gone, someone has to work on it.  I want to start by working into the woods off of the practice basket so removal of trash is high on my list for that area, basically from #12 pad down the hillside towards #2 fairway all cleaned out.  I know that the area immediately behind the pad (working East) is gonna require some effort, so if you can help, and want to get in on the crew, please let me know.  It won't get done in a day, and it will be a better place to play as we move forwards collectively.

THanks,

Jack

I'm sure I can help out.  What time are you thinking?  I have the big trash bags in my truck
Ryan "Rhyno" Westa
Do everyone a favor, pick up at least one piece of trash during every round.

I will be out there from about noon-4 is my guess initially maybe 5.

Do you want to move the pins for Drew, or do you need me to do that?

well.....

128 people popped in to view, and only Ryan offers to show up....

Ok folks, I am doing this to give back to the community in honor of 9-11 based on a note from my leadership at work.  THey want us to give our time to help our community.

See if you can give some of your time to your local community, disc golf or not.

This is a weekend filled with anxiety, please help out where you can!

Thanks,

Jack

Probably because it's a workday scheduled for a Friday.  Most of us work and can't make it.
