Kansas City Flying Disc Club Championships - Oct. 15-16, 2011

I just wanted to remind everyone that we will be playing, once again, to find out who is  the bestest of the bestest in Kansas City.  I will have a flyer up soon with more details.   Just remember... You MUST be a current KCFDC Member to play in ANY PART of this event.  You may sign up with your local League Director, or at Disc Golf World, OR the day of the event.

Are you going to have the OB  set-up on WYCO?
If so will 13 be split up like last year?

Some people only play one day or however many rounds they decide to play.

That is the same weekend as Yonder Mountain String Band's Harvest Festival in Arkansas.  I think I'll play the little 9 hole course at Mulberry Mountain.  :-)

How are the courses to be used decided?

I'd like to see only two corses used. One on Saturday and one on Sunday. Maybe Wyco (short w/ no painted OB's ) Saturday and Swope (medium length) on  Sunday, or WW, or PC, or SMP, or Rosey, or BV, or Wibur Young, or P-hill....

More importantly, will there be beer?

No need to discuss courses. That has basically been decided.  I am just finalizing a flyer.  I will have the info up soon and you can cry and whimper then.

How was it decided? At the board meeting?

If we don't like the setup, we won't cry, we will make our own flyer and have our own club championships.

I volunteered to run it this year so I decided.

60+ played in 1 round or more.  44 completed all 4 rounds

I know what you are thinking... East VS West?  Is this a competition between Kansas and Missouri?  NO.  It just made for a cool flyer and I am using two East courses and two West Courses.  Sorry for the confusion.

And we all know that (your state here) is the best anyway .

So to recap in case of error on the flyer.

Round 1 - Young Park 10am
Round 2 - Cliff Drive TBA

Round 3 - WYCO 10am
Round 4 - Rosedale TBA

Remember, you can play any round you want, but if you want to get the best bag tag possible or a chance to win a trophy, you must play all 4 rounds.
