Charity Event at Thornfield - Saturday 10-8 - Free Play

There is a charity event at Thornfield Disc Golf Course next Saturday.

Saturday October 8th
Noon - Lunch (Provided)
1pm Tee - Open format - Just come throw Thornfield! (BYOB)

This is an event to support a group that has been providing 1500 meals a week to area homeless. They have raised funds for the event and simply want people to come participate. No donation required but gratefully accepted.

If you plan to attend please contact Dan Cashen at 913.638.6399 so he can get a headcount for lunch.

Anyone planning to check this out? Just bring your discs and show up at noon for a free lunch and a round of disc golf at Thornfield. It's an excellent opportunity to check out the course if you've never played it. It won't cost a thing but your time.

69 hwy south. to 167 street. turn left, under the highway. go east 3/4 of a mile (crossing metcalf) and you will see the horsebarn on your right. parking in the field just past the horsebarn.

If you slow down after you cross Metcalf, you won't miss it.
