christmas ornament
« on: November 27, 2011, 04:40:42 PM »
I have a few great ideas for christmas ornaments if someone knows how to make things...

I think a small disc ornament would look cool. Thus giving the illusion that a disc got caught up in your tree.
I would also like a basket for a christmas star.

I'm sure there is someone out there with more time and talent who could put one of these things together..

I think Minis would be perfect ornaments.

Drill a hole near the lip, tie some string. Easy.

Mike at Zu Glass makes some sweet glass blown hanging baskets.

nowhere near as cool as a glass blown basket, but........take some 2-6 lb fishing line, run it through the eye of a needle, tie the loose ends into a knot, run the needle up from the bottom through the center of the mini, pull the knot gently up to the underside. break the needle off and you now have a loop as long as you want to hang from the tree. if you want a little anny or hyzer on it, make the point of entry off center. when the christmas spirit fades, break the string and reuse or hang it on your rearview mirror and the whole world can see your little disc.

Cashen's got a miniature basket on his dashboard that actually has chains and actually resembles a disc golf basket. The glass hippies need to stick to bowls and chillums. ;D

agreeing with haterade on this one, although there are plans to convert a full size basket into a bong for sure. giving new meaning to the phrase "hitting the nickel"!

You have to admit that it would be cool to win one of these trophies though.

Anyone have a link to the mini metal ones? I'd like to give one as a gift to one of my friends when they get their first ace. The 5 people I play with and myself are still looking for our first. Thanks
