 I don't know if everyone realizes that the guy working/running the KC Ice Bowl is also the guy responsible for the hundreds (or is it thousands?) of Ice Bowls that happen every year, all over the world. There are many people that will ask themselves someday, "did I do anything that made the world a better place?".  You will most assuredly be able to answer "yes I did".

Not official yet, but it looks like we're going to have no less that a $7,000 donation, to be split equally between Harvesters and the Bishop Sullivan Center. Below are the people who made this donation possible. Here's the key to these numbers:

Your CTP attempts were astonishingly good under the circumstances. Lots of fun out there yesterday, some had more of it that others it seems.   

I have pics of Steve throughout the day and a video of his CTP attempts.
I took alot of great pics. I'm just not smart enough to know how to share.
I had a Hell of a great time. Thanks to anybody that brought any type of cord for the generator. Especially the power strips. I would have looked dumb without the help since I only had 2 cords.
BTW I think 21 chili and 10 should have been the tie for first. Lee I want your recipe!!

I believe that 21 and 16 were the tying chili's, which was Lee's, and the winner Nick Davis in an official test tasting, where it was determined, that "the flavor, and the aftertaste have that of a thouroughbread Champ, it's your winner, it has a Champion's breed taste."

I believe that the names of the people that supplied the chili will be posted soon.  Remember folks it takes all of the great people in our community to take the time out of their life to make it more enjoyable for us to play.  Seeing 97 non-playing helpers, awesome.  Seeing the people helping, and really supporting the event, and following directions for the chili wait, even better.

My personal favorite though was #18 "Bar Chili" !!  One of the best stories of the Chili contest in Ice Bowl history if I had to say so myself.  Beats any of the concoctions that I have created.......what a hoot!

Had a great time throwing discs with everyone. I just really started playing last year with a bunch of other first timers. This was our first Tourney, if you don't count Lion's Den. We all had a blast and can't wait until Ram'N'Salmon!! Definately a disc golf addict!!
