long, none of the holes are shorter than 500', there should be another thread in here with the distances.  Look under the course descriptions I think I posted them there.

That's not entirely true as you can now see the official distances, there are several holes shorter then 500'. :) Fun course go play it as soon as the baskets are back.

Are the holes with 2 distances alternate tees or alternate pins?  How many holes will have short tees?

I'm just trying to enterpret what the two seperate distances mean for several of the holes listed above.

I dont think that Mike understands.  The distances that have alternate lists should have been to spots that give an angle to the basket, not sure how the par got involved.

Eventually there will be a shorter course within the big course with alternate pads for all the holes, but that is further down the road.

The program willhave the most accurate information Mike, so be here and play it!!

The info that is up there is old, and the course has slightly changed from that layout.

some holes, like 1 and 7, have 3 pin placements.  some only have 1 and a few have 2.  I think eventually each will have 3 placements if the land allows it.

i think the longest is #7 in the long placement at 938'.  that's insane but with the elevation change i bet we see someone get it in 2 at the wideopen.

i dont know if different t-pads will ever be added but with all that land i wouldn't be surprised.  i downunder course would be fan tastic.

are those actual placements?  I thought that they were only there to use as a visual to the people in the park to know that we are there.

Thanks,

Jack

some of the holes have actual physical placements besides the default.  some have 3 placements but not all are sleeved and in the ground.  I think only 2 of hole 1 are in the ground.  13 has two in the ground but the short one ends up being the alternate for hole 12 i believe.  I'm pretty sure 17 has two real placements.

but the signs on the t-pads are gospel.  if they're not in the ground now they will be.  it would suck to re-do the signs.

Thanks for the info.

There is an outside chance I could play this weekend.  What time will the pro's be wrapping up at Blue Valley?  I'd like to finally play this monster.

The long 7 won't be used for the WO.......Jim feels as though it needs more clearing before it is used. Will is correct there are multi placements for several of the holes, they're not just for visual effect.
