13 remains tough but won't be as difficult as last year; OB off the tee goes all the way to the road and the 2nd OB island is larger, so it's much easier to reach on your second shot. But the island around the pin is still pretty tight. However it is wide out to the right. 

Haven't played a WyCo tournie yet.  If I understand this, you're good until you reach the line that intersects the street, then there is OB until you get to the middle island 2/3's the way to the hole, then OB, then the pin island.  Is that correct?

Also, on hole 2, 9, 10, do you retee for the 3rd shot if you go OB off the tee?

Not going to try to describe in detail hole 13, but yes, 3 islands, each smaller than the previous.  If you're unsure what's going on, I suggest check it out.  You can drive and park at the Ag Hall of Fame right across the street from the pin.

On 8 and 9, if you end up OB from the tee, go to the drop zone and add a penalty stroke to your score.  On all other shots that go OB play by PDGA rules.

I take it the drop zone on 8 and 9 are not marked yet? I hit a tree at the gap and went OB on #9 and looked all over for the drop zone then ended up re-teeing because I couldn't find it.

Tracy and I are going to go out Thursday evening and mark Drop Zones and put in new pin flags, lay out OB flags, and possibly get 17s new pin in the ground. 

And I just found out that I will be able to play Saturday.  Watch out mister emac.

Played it last night...and yeah, pretty hard to describe in a forum.  I'll call it fair WHEN you fully know what's going on.  This is PURE placement golf...which there needs to be more of in this sport.

With the wind from the south, there are options to go big and attempt to get to the green in two.  recommended?  *shrugs*

This is a well thought out design with unique risk/reward issues, especially for longer throwers than myself.

While I'll not be playing the tourney, and for a weenie arm like myself...the best I could EVER do with the OB intact would be a 4.  IF there was no OB in play...the best I could do on this long setting would be a far-fetched 3 if I drilled/field-aced my approach after my 2nd drive.  A 4 is (still) most welcome.
