Too much time to play? Have you tried the alternate course yet?

I enjoyed Blue Valley Lite but think I would have trouble playing it again without a map or guidance. I'm pretty directionally challenged and don't know the original course that well though. The park is looking wonderful with the new trees and other work that has been done. I will certainly be more open to playing there in the future.

Before leaving, I took the opportunity to berate a couple of the creepy old queers sitting in the parking lot. I told them, in no uncertain terms, that they will have to find a new location to perform fellatio on one another. Their response? "We weren't doing that... here." 

Then the one got back in his own vehicle, they both left, and I received an approving smile and thumbs up from the P&R employee watering the new greenery on #10. We're gonna take this park back, just you watch!

NE league last night was a blast. First time I have played out at BV and it was very fun. Made it through with a 3 some guided by Timko in under 2 hours. Does anyone know what the par for Blue Valley Lite is? Just curious.

I'd be hard pressed to say anything more than 56 in last night's set up........
4's would be on #6 to the mogul placement, and then the 2nd' half of #9......you may....MAY work with me on #14 in that layout (#12 pad across #13 fairway to red basket...but it's a tough stretch as well to call that a 4)

#14 in that layout is not a par 4.  I was 100' away from it off the tee and probably could have gotten another 30' closer with a perfect drive.  It's around 480' and probably plays in the 520' range.

What about #9b?  I think it would be tough for anyone to get within 100' of that pin off the tee.

that was the second half of 9 that I mentioned.  I find it hard to get 100' off the tee pad on that hole in that configuration....  However, ggetting out and up the hill, and then a straight mid-range to the basket is the way to get a 3 on it....

I think that one and #6 are the par 4's playing a 56 par out there.....Aim high right, stay out of the bushes, or go to the short pin, and place the upshot under the basket.....just don't hit the tree off the pad on the drive like I did...but I did save a 4 on that one...

Just to make the record straight.....I'm not talking about #14 (#16 hole in the 18 hole round if starting on #1) pin, but actually talking about the other, and that is why I don't think that it is a 4 either Chris.  I think that a good tug across the fairway shuold get you a look at the basket, but then the way that thing shrieks down the slope, YIKES!!!

Ah, ok.  #16 always felt like a short par 4 due to the dogleg nature of it.  I'd be interested to see some pros play that hole.  Can they go over all that pine to the right and get a look at 2?

Awesome. Love "little blue" However the mowing will deter me from going there more than a few times a month. I would of been fine wearing pants, and I didnt huck (too many) into the thick. Keep a close eye on your drive, as discs magically disappear into the grass!

Otherwise, tough course and I'm going to love playing it every 1st monday in league format. Getting geared up for the Wide Open is essential! Playing that (short) Bad boy plus Young park isnt going to be easy!
