Too much time to play? Have you tried the alternate course yet?

The tall grass is quite a burden.  It makes the rounds last twice as long because unless you are standing on top of your disc, you won't see it.  So even when you land in the middle of the fairway and have a good point of reference, it may take you some time to locate it.

That first mow of the year is always tough to get at here in KC......I sent a note out to the P&R asking, but I would guess, that this is the week that all the courses in town get a hair cut.....

It will be mowed this week, I haven't heard back about the other courses yet.....I will try to find out about the mowing as well out here as with the newer additions, it will require tweaking.

I was out at BV around noon and much of it has been mowed.  Can't say if the whole thing was mowed because I didn't see the entire park.  But hole 1 is mowed and so is all the grass near the practice basket up top by the pavillion.

Are the distances fr short BV posted anywhere?

Played league last night and had a great time with the people I played with Adam, TJ Ring and Tank. The course looks good and it will look even better when its mowed. The layout is great it played 2.5 hours for the 4 of us. A lot of the original holes and a few new ones. A couple of holes need some work so here is some constructive ideas. Hole 4 and hole 13 both need a gap to get through. Even if its a 6' wide gap. These are both overhand thumber holes which I dont have that shot. Doesn't seem fair to us that don't throw those types of shots. I can throw very straight when needed and would thread the needle if the gap was there.
The course is a great layout and will be fun to play.

I've only played that layout once, but both of those holes have decent spike hyzer lines for a lefty.  And I saw Vince (a righty) park #13 with a high anny line with a roc.

Anyone up for a round on the Alternate layout? How about a morning round @ 0800 (or before) on Wednesday or Thursday? Gotta work at Noon.

I have a map, but never like wandering BV without another set of eyes.
