Of course, I'm biased, but I really think the celebration of the 30th Wide Open, with its three PDGA events, will draw over 400 players. That we have advanced players coming from the West Coast is a good sign that people are thinking about the Wide Open already.
The KCFDC is working hand in hand with both Disc Golf World and Dynamic Discs to ensure the success of this Wide Open. The direction and management of the event has been entrusted to what we call the Gang of Fore—Crazy John Brooks, Dan Cashen, Jack Lowe, Tavish Carduff, and me. You’re going to be hearing much more about the event and why you should be part of it—as player and/or helper and/or sponsor. For now, I wanted to let you know how you can sign up.
