Yeah, my first Wide Open was done form behind the camera. Volunteering kicks ass! Its a great way to be apart of a really special tournament. The Wide Open is older than me!

Same here man. I figured I'd get some good experience seeing how a tournament works before I play since I've only played Rec

Are there going to be festivities and clinics on Thursday.  If so, where and what time?
Thanks for any info on this.

Played league last night and had a great time with the people I played with Adam, TJ Ring and Tank. The course looks good and it will look even better when its mowed. The layout is great it played 2.5 hours for the 4 of us. A lot of the original holes and a few new ones. A couple of holes need some work so here is some constructive ideas. Hole 4 and hole 13 both need a gap to get through. Even if its a 6' wide gap. These are both overhand thumber holes which I dont have that shot. Doesn't seem fair to us that don't throw those types of shots. I can throw very straight when needed and would thread the needle if the gap was there.
The course is a great layout and will be fun to play.
Three discs' in the hand is better than twenty in the bag!

Agreed on 13, even though I have a thumber...but 4 has a fairly straightforward spike hyzer as well as high anny flex shot or spike anny route...

I will also agree with you on #13.   However, I throw a stall turned over putter at that hole right now over the left side of the trees.  However, on #4 I like the high anny route.  Note that #4 isn't that long, so you don't need a super fast disc to get to that pin; I hit the trees on the right with a PD last night just short of pin high.

Everytime i get a hole with a spike hyzer or super spike flick/thumber line someone comes along wanting a straight up the middle bailout. You guys just need to breakdown and learn how to throw massive hyzers over trees. You can't just throw it perfectly straight at everything, thats freaking boring.
Cooter was here.

Here's the breakdown of entrants so far. It's picking up. If you are intending to play, it would be great if you registered sooner than later as it helps in our planning. As to the age-based pro divisions, there will be a minimum of $1800 added, which would mean a $3100 purse for the 13 men who have signed up so far.
