He said his back hurts, like torn muscle or whatever.

He's dropped out of a few tournaments lately because of back pain. Word on the street is he hurt it wrestling around with Feldberg awhile ago.

Kansas City Star came up to Water Works yesterday...see above for the article.

I really wish we would quit making press releases that further negative stereo types about our sport, like "Free concert at 4:20 PM".

The XXX Games were outstanding. I got video of Dick Parker and Jeremy Rusco showing us how it's done in the game of KC Hold 'Em. Check it out:

My absolute favorite part of this video is when Crazy says "..20 Seconds left, He's already got a big stack goin, look at that dude! Imagine a ham sandwich in between every one of those!"
Every putt, every time.

Hey guys,

I got a chance to meet a traveling disc golfer by the name of Dana. He is trying to raise funds so that he can play in the worlds this year in memory of his aunt and mother who lost their battle with cancer. His website is http://dg4pm.com/. Anyone who can should take a look at this. He is looking for pledges per throw or flat donations. He even has a couple Vibram high speed drivers that are going to be raffled off through the site as well.

As supportive as KCFDC members are I figured we could at least help spread the word for this cause.

Does anyone know when the courses used in KCWO will be changed back and the OB "disappear?"  I could not participate due to military obligations and I would like to play these courses this week, Swope Gold, Rosedale, Waterworks, Young and Blue Valley.  Would that be possible?  Thank you.

Doug, I am running a Random Draw Dubs on Tuesday at league on Swope Gold!

Right... I was just wondering why they made us amateurs suffer through it and then didn't have the pros do it.  Cutting hole 14 in half makes it considerably easier.  Not playing 13 (hardest hole on the course in my opinion) and then 14 was shortened (again making it dramatically easier).  They gave them mostly easy holes.

I thought the whole purpose of Swope Gold was to challenge the pros.  I would have much rather played Wilbur Young like it was originally planned.  Just didn't understand the choice.  Wonderful tournament though! Done it three years in a row now!

I just wanted to say thanks to everyone that made this a great tournament.  I am very glad I was a part of the 30th Wide Open and look forward to the 31st Wide Open.
