DD Facebook page provides a link, but they do say they are tentative times meaning they can change.
Went down to do a practice round at Jones Gold today. Threw my Wahoo into a pond (hole 4). Tried to get it out by throwing rocks over it and causing waves to bring it to shore, but it wasn't working. Wasn't too upset because I really don't care for it. Then another golfer came by, so I asked him if he had a Golden Retriever. Sure enough he did, so I tried to get my Wahoo.....except that I wasn't holding onto the rope nearly as tight as I thought I did. So it went into the water, rope and all.
This whole time, there is a girl sitting in the shelter watching me make a fool of myself. I can't strip down to my grundies, because she's watching. (Yeah, I know some of you would have, but...) Now, I have to get wet, so I can get this stranger's GR out. He didn't ask, I just did it as that would be what I would expect. So, after 1 hr 40 min drive from Lawrence, I played 30 minutes and am absolutely wet. Tried to play 1 more hole, but it's 50 deg, my jeans are clinging to me like my son's skinny (tight) jeans do, and I am no longer having a remote amount of fun.
3+ hr round trip drive, 30 minutes of golf.
