Ur right. I'm a washed up never has been. That doesn't play tourneys anymore.
I'm just not out there pontificating all my wealth (or lack theroef)  of information.
I apologize to all the kcfdc members for muddying this thread. I guess if you have something else to add. Take it to pm.
Or better yet lets discuss it next time you see me? I'm a pretty level headed guy. Just ask around. ;D

Andy, how would you know what I do or don't do? I realize you and general Tao are buddies, but you and you can vouch for him. But you don't know anything about what I do around here. This sounds a lot like your whiny little snivel about how I didn't play local events. Which was also untrue. Put down the pipe, Andy. It's messing up your vision.

So I threw the 150 Katana yesterday pretty darn far, probably an extra 50-60'.....I didn't have as much luck on the Destroyer (also 150)......I had to throw it about 80% and it was ok, when I started to try to crank it (#13 @ cliff) it went straight across the street (yes thats a $1.....) I found it really good though throwing it up to original #18 (now the Orange basket), and it travelled fairly well on #7, but it didn't go past the pin, and I can get there with my regular plastic already....

Jury is still out, but it was fun to throw, and I really want to see what Women may do with this stuff as well......many times their technique looks better than guy's do, so hopefully it will help them balance the field in terms of distance for the majority of them.   (I do of course realize that many women can already throw farther than myself.....)

Hmmmmmm......I like the QMS, its not a driver, I prefer the alk to the JLS (even though they are the same thing basically....) so I have only done the QMS with them to date, I didn't mind the Putters as well, loved the super soft back int eh day, but then again my putting doesn't rely on putters, its horrible in between the ears, and the discs shouldn't matter, but they do......DOH!

Suffice it to say, I'll try what ever it takes to not get beaten like the red headed step child that I am by all the youngsters out here.....

If we could only get this kind of feedback on say...the mission statement, or Board meeting minutes.

My two cents,

Not sure it's official, but while trying to watch some of the GBO Live they announced that David Wiggins threw a 135g Boss 255m = 836' in the desert near Las Vegas.  Previously(?), a DX Valk owned the D record at 250m.

Equivalent: Would be pretty cool to throw a drive past the basket, and likely across the street at #17 long @WyCo.

Rumor has it some kid threw a 150 blizzard boss at WYCO from 3's tee to 17's fairway.  Clearly it was a piss-poor shot and ended in a 5 on the hole, but quite the chuck nonetheless...darn Kansas wind...

I watched him do it.  He was driving in that direction on purpose to have extra room while waiting for the tournie results.  Proly didn't hurt that EMac was sitting around watching.

No, it was during the tournament. And I definitely carded a 5...and was not happy with the result, far as the throw may have been...
