There are plenty of fine places to play all over town, and the weather couldn't be more better.

The work that thousands of people have done to help make disc golf as good as it is in Kansas City will be easy to see whilst you play on a few courses that have been used 3x for world championships.  The only other place that could even come close to saying that is Winthrop if they wanted to......so enjoy the courses, realize you are in a public setting, but none of our courses have a history of being "shooting ranges" so no guns are needed......unless Glover is with you, then its just safe to have protection.......

I feel my comments are very warranted as I feel uncomfortable in certain parks by myself. Safety is always my number one concern and not giving a word of advice to an unaware player would be irresponsible. If anybody does not feel the same way is their prerogative just as my fair warning is mine.

the reality is there is less chance of someone pulling a weapon than someone willing to pull your weapon. just to be on the safe side it would be prudent to keep both in your pants.
