Cliff League 3/26-Now with Ace Flavors
« on: March 27, 2012, 02:35:51 PM »
13 out for a very lovely evening in the wind.  "Big Country" Kevin Smith made it an official league by slamming the chains underneath the tree on #15 and cashing in on an ace fund that was $353, with the added $13, brought the total to $366 for the ace fund, then minus the $20 Club Dues (Congrats on that Kevin!) he will be taking home $163 for the night.  It eases his pain for the round score.

It was windy, we came in with a little light left, and the majority of people left early.  Good showing by all that came out to play a relatively short track out here last night.

Reminder NEXT WEEK IS MONDAY APRIL 2[/b], which means that the league will move to BLUE VALLEY on the short track.  We want to be out playing by 5:30, I will be out there by 5:00 by hole #1 to take registration.  A reminder ALL First MONDAY's of the month are at BLUE VALLEY!!

Name   26-Mar
Jamie Danger   54
Adam Cossette   56
Dick Parker   56
Frank Weaver   57
TJ Ring   59 -$1
Billy Nelson   60
Kevin Corbet   61
Kevin Smith   62 -$1
Jack Lowe   62
Demian Vela   65
Adam Meyer   67 -$1
Mike Spady   77 -$1
Justin Gardner   80 -$1

Ace Fund now at $183
Club Money from League Event $26

Since Drew didn't like this, he is correct.  $13 for the club coffers.....$13 for the ace fund, of which $6.50 went to Kevin this evening, and that means the other $6.50 went to the ace fund....

Hope this clarification helps!

Yep, we had possibly 3, but they chose to play open.

just saying "northeast league" is awesome, but i won't let this one issue rest quite yet, in that we all played open : but i am sure if an opportunity for a couple players to opt out of playing/paying @$5.00 could have  saved a couple bucks, they would have in a "not playing for cash" division. plus spady says he and band are playing wesport flea market 4-15 about 9 pm. and i'm ready for a workday too, but only at cliff.

Club Money from League Event $26

Kind of misleading.  $13 for club.  $6.50 spending money for Kevin Smith.  $6.50 for future aces that the club hangs on to until that time.  With the interest rates these days, can't really say this is making money for the club.  just sayin'.  unless, of course, none of you guys are current KCFDC members, then yes, there would be $26 dollars for the club.  :P

Even if they played Danger, they still would have paid $5, I am not following the logic, other than there 2 people that wanted to play Am, and we needed 3 to create a division, its still $5 to play plus $1 for ace fund, and then the $1 discount for club members.....

There is not at this time your desired $2 league in the area..... >:(
