KCFDC Courses > Clover Dell Park

Baskets are going in on April 14th!

(1/1)

Kevin Montgomery:
Baskets and benches for the back nine are going in on April 14th. Of course there will be the inaugural round taking place as soon as the work is done but the following week on Sunday, April 22nd, the day after the Swope Spring Renewal, I would like to cordially invite all KC disc golfers to come check out the 18 hole +1 course at Clover Dell Park in Sedalia, MO.

Perhaps some bag tag challenges and maybe a money round... just come check it out!

Eric:
I may try and make this. I've played there a hand full of times while visiting my High School buddy in Sedalia. Always a good time.

I will try to make April 22nd Kevin.  Can't wait to see all the great work you've done out there.

Kevin Montgomery:
For anyone that happens to not be going to the GBO this weekend come on out to Sedalia and check out the new back nine. The baskets will be assembled and installed Friday the 13th as part of an Eagle Scout project then there will be some brush clearing and trimming going on Saturday morning with the Lion's Club and benches will be installed Saturday afternoon as a continuation of the Eagle Scout project. That leaves Saturday late afternoon and evening and all day Sunday to play the new course!

If you are interested in coming out let me know so I can plan to join you or just show up and enjoy.

As much as I'd love to be in Emporia for the GBO I have to take the opportunity to get the course in the ground when it arises. Thanks to the Lion's Club of Sedalia and Boy Scout Troop 61 for all the help in getting the course in the ground.

Kevin Montgomery:
More work being done to Clover Dell tomorrow and Saturday.

Shakedown cruise round it planned for Sunday the 22nd at 10am. Come on out and check it out. It's still a bit rough around the edges but we have 19 Mach III baskets in the ground ready for action.
