USM Disc Golf Tuesdays

Another good night at USM. Discs were thrown and beers were consumed. There were a couple of nice ace runs but none went in. We had a classic battle down to the wire between Andy, Doc and Tony last night with Doc pulling out the win on the very last hole with a nice putt for the deuce.

Had a great turn out for the Tuesday round of Disc Golf at USM. 4 people played a very tight game. Some of the scores we very close but Tony (ToTo, Toadny) took the win. Here were the scores!

Yes very beautiful night along with the beautiful womens soccer team right on the other side! Couldn't ask for better weather!

Beautiful evening for disc golf at USM. Had six start the round and two joined in midway. There was quite the battle coming into the home stretch. At hole #15 Peter and Mike (who was playing his first round ever) were both tied up. Peter was able to pull out the win over him with a par to Mike's bogie on #17. The real horse race was Tony, Andy and Kevin. We were all tied up at #15 then all three of us started hitting birdies. If I had just stayed in bounds on #17 and taken a par instead of rolling out we'd have ended in a three way tie. Fun night at USM for sure. Next week we'll be trying to tee off a little earlier. Shooting for 5:15.

The breeze and the colder weather seems to have affected everyone's game at USM last night. The usual crowd for a nice 18 holes.

Yes, that's the plan. Likely one of the last Tuesdays of the season. Might be one more after next week but no promises....

We'll try to tee at 5pm but no later than 5:15. We teed last night about 5:15 and had plenty of daylight but the days are getting shorter all the time.

I can try my hardest to make it out there by 5:15, it's not that long of a drive. Life has just taken over for me and took a turn for the best.

I've only played once in a month, so I need to break the rust off

It sounds like it's getting close to the end of league season but is it to late for a new guy to get in. I usually play at Wyandotte so it's not to far and I have been wanting to get up there and play. I've only been playing four months so I'm not very good. Maybe you guys can straighten me out.
