The final official USM Tuesday of the season was a great time. Beautiful evening and some great disc golf. Chris Hinson joined us having never thrown at USM before and while his score didn't reflect a great game he had two amazing shots that deserve mention - Front nine #6 he canned a huge 100'+ putt for birdie right in front of the entire USM football team that had just broken up from practice and were walking right behind him. It was noticed by all and the head football coach even called Tony later to tell him how cool a shot it was and how impressed a lot of the guys were. Then after struggling with the many non-lefty friendly holes on the course he banged solid chains on #18, but alas, it spit.... leaving him an easy 10' putt and $3 richer.
The other highlight was relatively new player Joe Teater's even par round with four, count 'em, four birdies! Nice shooting Joe!
On the other card we had smoking hot Andy Jewett shooting five under with six birdies. Andy started out the round hitting the pin on #1. He didn't collect the dollars Chris collected but that's good shooting nonetheless.
We may be doing some glow off and on this winter, USM lends itself well to glow as it is well lighted to begin with. When a glow round it planned I'll post it here.
