Grand Opening of Riverview Park in Platte City This Saturday

The grand opening of this short and fun nine-hole track, designed by Jack Lowe, will be Saturday, April 28 at 11 am. There will be hot dogs and some giveaways. The City is planning an additional nine holes down the road.

Hell yes! Wish I would've known there was a course going in, I definitely would've volunteered some time.

The Parks Department did all the work. Moving forward, it would good to have some locals interested in partnering with Parks Dept on maintenance and improvement issues. Dannie Stamper is the Parks and Rec Director. He's a nice guy and very good to work with.

Does anybody have the GPS coordinates to the disc golf parking lot? I was there at the soccer field there Thursday and nobody had any idea what I was talking about.
