Bluebird Series State Championships - 2012
« on: April 30, 2012, 01:29:32 PM »
Here is the schedule for this year's Bluebird Series:

Region 1:
May 26 - Lee’s Summit
June 9 - pleasant hill
July 14 - Marshall
August 4 - blue springs
_________________________________________________________
September 8 - Smithville
(region championship)

The flyer and schedule for other regions is available at: http://mopark.org/displaycommon.cfm?an=1&subarticlenbr=190

I still have not found the information on the finals or who is running the regional events. I have an email into the MPRA and will update this post when I get more info.

I still have not found the information on the finals.........

I just got word from Sedalia Parks and Rec that MPRA has asked Sedalia to host the state finals at Clover Dell Park.  8)

This is not an official announcement. It is based upon a phone call with the Sedalia Parks Director. Once I discuss this with Gary Gates I will provide more details.

I'd love to play this weekend but my little sister's graduation party is tomorrow.

Hopefully I'll be able to make one of the other dates. I had fun with this last year.

Thanks for the nod, Kevin. Decent shootin' yourself! The Master from Marshall was Jon Parsons.

Kevin,

Thanks for the update.  Would have liked to play, but being on the holiday weekend made it tough.  I will be out of town for the phill and marshall, so hopefully I can get enough points at Youngs :).

It was a 9 am registration, 10 am shotgun start.  2 rounds.  9 total players.
2 open, Adam and Bryan from Marshall
2 Adv Masters, Matt Fox and John Parsons.
3 Int Tony Burnett, Jeff Scheetz, and a mystery player. (not on my card)
2 Rec. Tommahawk Bob and another mystery.
And that is how we finished. 1st place going to Adam, Fox, Tony, and Bob.
next course will be Marshall, then Blue Springs, Regionals in Smithville and the Finals in Sedelia.

If it harm none,
do what you will.
