Going to Columbia this weekend...

Hey I am going to Columbia this weekend and was wondering if you guys could help me out? I need to know what is the must play course is in Columbia as I will probably  only have time to play one on Saturday. Thanks!

Indian Hills is the must play. I lived in COMO for 8 yrs. If you want a leisurely round you can go to Albert Oakland and play the top course or back course and have fun. If you want the challenge head to Indian Hills where the tight fairways are unforgiving with oppurtunity to unleash some drives on the open holes. Although if you go to Indian Hills take Rice Rd around to the back side of park and start from hole 6. Any Questions?

I tend to disagree. I'd recommend Albert Oakland back. Indian Hills is challenging but not necessarily as interesting and can be pretty wooly. Oakland back has water, tunnels, long open shots, technical shots and on top of all that, it's maintained better.

Agree with Kevin, Garverland is good to if that is still open for play......

Having lived there for 8 years myself, I would tend to agree with Kevin.  Indian Hills was a much better course 8 years ago, when most of the tree clearing was done. Sadly, due to the overbearing arborist most of that hard work has grown back and the course is not much fun. I would play Oakland back if you don't want to spend most of your time looking for your disc.

Rumor had it that Dave Mac took the baskets back from Garverland, but it's a great course as well.
