WaterWorks Workday Saturday May 26th (KCWO Grooming)

sat may 26th we will have a planned workday for some manicuring of our elustrious dg course in preperation for the wide open.

i'll be out at 8am things to bring include but not limited to:
loppers
rakes
gloves
shovels
pole saw
weedeaters

work mostly consisting of woodchipping placements, weedeating near rocks and pads maybe some pruning and clearing any debris

I was hoping Matt would post some more information, but some much needed trimming will take place this weekend. Bring loppers, cutters, string trimmers and gloves. I would imagine it will start around 9.

Talked to Mr. Neenan this afternoon. I will be out there around 9am with my little green truck and a chainsaw. We will be doing lots of mulch replacement around tees. I would also like to clean up the right side of #13, as Terry suggested.

Please, if anyone reading this is available tomorrow, even if only for an hour, we could really use your help.

Also, oh snap, I'm back posting again. Can I get one of those cool custom avatars by chance?

Lots o f chipping today. p and r sawed the tree on one, so theres some fire wood up for grabs if anyone is interesred. danger was cleaning up the peace sign and had some red chips delivered. if you can come donate a couple hours and we'll knock it out. thanks

Decent turnout for a workday, IMO. We got mulch put around all the tees that needed it, along with a few other odds and ends. My favorite part was getting #18's fairway cleared of the log pieces that were there. We then got my truck backed up the hill to the big log stump thingie, hooked the chains up, but she wouldn't budge due to some of the roots still being attached.

Good times and hard work, that's what a nice disc golf course is all about. Thanks to everyone who came out today.
